Washington DC

Geoff Hazel brings his very first mathematically significant road sign with this amazing sign assemblage in Washington DC.

The math here is enough to make your head spin. Mr. Hazel does an amazing job of hacking through some really big numbers.

(( 700 \div 100 + 7) \div 7 ) \times ( 295 + ( (30 \times 30) \div 9 ) ) = 395 \times ( 6 - 4 )

This sign is at the intersection of Constitution Ave NW and 7th Street NW in Washington DC. See sign on map!

There’s an elegance to the top part of this sign (everything except the no-left-turn portion):

    395 - 295 = 700 / 7 = 100
