Just The Numbers

Rosalin Chrest found her 2nd 3rd winning sign returning to the Twin Cities on a road trip with her son, the founder of Road Sign Math, and family. Kudos to her for spotting this sign before her son got it. This sign presents it’s numbers in a way that would make Joe Friday happy. There are no city names, nothing to draw us away from these blazing numbers.

The math on this sign is very straightforward, but due to the size of the numbers it is easily overlooked. The 5 + 36 = 41 is missed by the casual driver.

36 + 205 = 241

This sign was found in Minnesota on I-94 heading eastbound towards the Twin Cities, at exit 205. The GPS coordinates are approximately N45 13 13.7 W93 35 58.5. See sign on map!

Ed.: This is the 5th sign for Minnesota, placing it in a tie with New Mexico for the 3rd most signs of any state. Pennsylvania still dominates first place however with 12 signs, twice as many as 2nd place Massachusetts.
