Massachusetts

Randy Weiss submitted this sign from Massachusettes. The sign points the follower to Attleboro. Attleboro used to be Attleborough until 1914 when the city decided to save itself some letters. Attleboro was once the residence of that most famous of signatures, John Hancock.

It is a little surprising that it took 47 sign submissions before the most basic of math made it into Road Sign Math, perhaps the most basic possible. After signs with trigonometry this sign is perhaps so simple that people would pass it up.

1 + 1 = 2

This sign was found on I-95 southbound approaching Attleboro, MA. The GPS coordinates are approximately N41 54 49.6 W71 20 12.4. See sign on map!
