David Slauenwhite finds this mathematical roadsign in Massachusetts. The sign itself is very interesting, but equally interesting is where it is from. Mr. Slauenwhite took this sign in June of 2005 and wasn’t able to find any matches until late February when he came upon the solution. I won’t take you through the several dead ends that he went down. More interesting is the fact that the town this sign comes from, Sterling, is the birth-place of the childrens song Mary Had a Little Lamb.

Mr. Slauenwhites months of effort resulted in the following hidden mathematical gem.
This sign is west of Sterling, Massachusetts at the junction of route 62 and 140. See sign on map!
