Road Sign Math

Jim Kearns breaks onto the scene with the first mathematically significant roadsign from the state of California. This sign continues the trend of simple math, as well as being photographed at night. While the sign doesn’t give indication of Point Mugu being ahead, we name this sign in honor of such a wonderful name as Mugu.

There is little that can be said about math this simple. It’s like a gentle lullabye. Messr. Kearns would like to point out that this sign is a sequence, however it is not a series and thus doesn’t qualify as that yet unfound type of sign.

1 + 2 = 3

This sign is found along CA 1 southbound heading towards Point Mugu. The GPS coordinates are approximately N34 09 27.0 W119 07 49.0. See sign on map!
