Gantry Math in Bellevue

This gantry is found over I-405 southbound, just south of downtown Bellevue, WA. Two signs, and the one on the left has just barely visible numbers 2, 5 and 7.

12 = 8 + (7 – 5 ) + 2

Geoff Hazel puts Washington on the board with this sign assembly that is overloaded with a variety of 13s! There are less than 10 states remaining to be posted in Road Sign Math.

Some nice mathematics here from Mr. Hazel. If you are having a hard time seeing the 35, it is in the small yellow bar in the sign that is on the median. It is the advised speed limit.

13 + 13 + 13 – (8 \div \sqrt{4}) = 35
