David Slauenwhite took a very blurry picture of this mathematically significant roadsign. This six-number sign is one of the disappearing breed of Massachusetts signs with distances, a trend that bodes ill for Road Sign Math in the Bay State as they are replacing them with new signs which have route numbers on the square [...]

Boston has really heavy traffic. This section of I-93 southbound was captured by Randy Weiss while it was not being driven on during rush hour. He recommends that you do not get a flat during rush hour, since you are basically out of luck then.
Nothing adavanced to find in this sign.

David Slauenwhite brings another mathematically significant roadsign from the RSM-leading state of Massachusetts. This roadsign qualifies not only with mathematical significant, but Mr. Slaeunwhite notes that it actually has an error in it as well. South 202, referenced in the sign, is actually Route 122 North, which eventually meets 202 but not for a [...]

David Slauenwhite finds this mathematical roadsign in Massachusetts. The sign itself is very interesting, but equally interesting is where it is from. Mr. Slauenwhite took this sign in June of 2005 and wasn’t able to find any matches until late February when he came upon the solution. I won’t take you through the several [...]

Randy Weiss comes back with another sign from Massachusetts. This time the town of Westin shows off some mathematical significance.
Mr. Weiss worked on the math long and hard to come up with the highest scoring combination he could find.
\left( \sqrt{ \sqrt{ 20 - 4} } \right) ^ 3 = 20 - 12
This sign is [...]

David Slauenwhite gives us a quick 1-2 with the backside of Montague Pi also showing a great mathematical relationship. This is the 2nd time we’ve seen this mathematical somersault, the other being Cambridge Math and Cambridge Math Backside from Randy Weiss.
The math here looks more complicated than it really is, but it takes a [...]
