Road Sign Math

The 2nd edition rules for Road Sign Math introduced the concept of sign scores. This revolutionary development allowed for an entirely new dimension of gameplay. In the past the game was very one dimensional, simply looking for sign counts for states. Now the complexity and elegance of the sign mattered almost more than the pure sign count. We’ve also seen specialization in players seeking very technical signs, as well as players chasing the other branch of Road Sign Math — elegance.

To help players keep track of where they stand, we’ve now added a dynamic real-time scoreboard to Road Sign Math! You can now see three seperate races. Watch players duke it out for ranking in the Player Competition. You can see what states have placed themselves at the top of the pile in the State Competition. And finally see the “King of the Hill” sign, the sign with more points than any other sign in the Sign Competition.

We are very excited about this development and hope to add more functionality to the scoreboard in the future. Meanwhile, keep on hunting for those awesome signs!
